As many of you know, I’m currently running a contest to redesign the logo for this blog. I have decided to extend the deadline until August 31.

That is the surprising response I’ve had about the opportunity to win 3 seasons of your favorite show on DVD. Seriously, I have a $100 gift to GIVE AWAY to one lucky person in exchange for a simple logo design. Details here; the contest has been extended through August 31.

Spread the word, people. We all know graphic designers and artists, and very few who’d turn down this kind of prize for what should be a relatively easy task.

Let’s get right to it.
I have been very lucky to have had talented friends design the logos for both this and my Lost blog (thanks Kenny, Nick and Brian!). But I’ve been feeling the need for a logo revamp here, and rather than relying on free favors from generous friends again, I decided to open up a contest to everyone.
If you are an artist and are interested in submitting a logo, there are two simple elements I am seeking to incorporate:
Style-wise, I am fairly open to almost anything (as long as it is an obvious visual nod to pop culture).
I will be posting all submissions, so please let me know if you would prefer to keep your name private.
The deadline is August 31, 2008.
