DIGGING THE ‘DIRT’
For reasons I cannot explain, I have watched the entire first season of Dirt on FX. The show is a guilty pleasure; the characters are deplorable and yet I can’t turn away. The good news is that Courtney Cox is absolutely nothing like Monica on Friends, but the bad news is that she is surrounded by far less talented yet far more over-the-top actors. I doubt that the series will be renewed, but I would be curious to see what executive producers Cox and hubby David Arquette bring to the table in a second season.
